A native of the “great” flyover state of Kansas, Neil “NP” Payne brings a cinematic eye, collaborative spirit and a boost of adrenaline to the roster. Not to mention a healthy dose of Midwestern positivity (naiveté).
Since earning his MFA in Film from Chapman University in 2008, NP has continued to develop his visceral style and hone his craft by directing spec commercials and music videos and is currently in pre-production on his short film, “Social Problems 101.” Believing that story is paramount in every medium – and being a life-long film nerd – NP studies influences like David Fincher to find new and exciting ways to manipulate light and color to complement and reinforce the story.
NP is also an avid golfer and has promised to give us swing tips.
